In the summer of 2024 Matt Starr launched his first book of poetry.

Matt Starr's MOUTHFUL is a playfully perverse, live-wire look into sexuality, hunger, bodily obsessions, New York City, and the messiness of growing into one's desires. With tenderness and candor, he merges youth and experience to observe the absurdity of adulthood, in all its complications of heart, body, and mind.

In his debut poetry collection, Starr traces the edges of early longing and curiosity, only to find a strange sweetness in the stains left behind.

To celebrate the launch, Matt threw a party at a boxing ring in downtown NYC.

The party featured live performancers from a number of celebrity talent.
